David O'Malley

David lives with Aurele and they have four horses, two cats and four dogs. David is 38 and Dublin born. He gained a certificate in Hospitality and worked in the hotel management industry for 7 years. David then followed his passion to work with children and taught in a private prep school in West Sussex for 9 years as head of Design and Technology department to children aged 5-14 years. As well as teaching, he also organised the extra-curricula outdoor activities for the children including clay pigeon shooting and boating expeditions.

He discovered horses in 2003 and the passion was instant and his quest to learn more began immediately. He attended the EAGALA 1 training course in Belgium in 2005 and then travelled to Spain to find two Andalusians—Fresa and Dawn who will be used in the learning sessions.
